A courtroom drama where the judge is forced to pass judgement on a woman with whom he had an affair. The dj copy asks the questions: "Shall he remain true to his oath of office or save the girl?" and "Shall he go the way of the world or accept punishment by confession and renunciation?". Basis for the 1924 black and white silent film directed by Victor Sjostrom and starring Mae Busch and Conrad Nagel. NF in Good-VG dj, shallow chipping to spine ends and top edge of front panel, some surface wear and few short closed tears.
